Brother Glenn Mosier

 -1964-

A master's job is never done, it lives on through the ages.

Officer Installation was held on January 4, and Bro. Chamber's entertained the crowd with several musical selections on the piano. Afterwards refreshments were served in the dining hall and a lot of people got to visit.

At the January stated meeting the first professional janitor service was hired by Clovis Lodge at the rate of $150.00 per month. This is a lot of money compared to what the first people got to clean up the Lodge in the early years.

In February there was to be a new roster printed up with the address's of the members being omitted at this printing. In June the annual picnic that was held at Kearney Park was attended by a large number of people and was enjoyed by all.

In the August stated meeting it was decided to change from a "Party Line" to a more secure phone line where people couldn't hear what was being said, and also to have the interior of the Lodge painted.

In September there were several work parties held and with good turn outs. If I counted them right there were as many as 25 people showing up to help further the cause of the Lodge. Many projects were completed, one of them being new lights in the dining hall.

In December the Roll Call Dinner was held with many Past Master's of Clovis Lodge in attendance along with Bro. Clyde Gibson who was at the time the oldest living member of Clovis Lodge.

As in past years new applicants to receive degree's in Clovis Lodge were not in short supply. The officer's of 1964 were doing degree's almost every Thursday night and sometimes several nights in one week.
